Before you begin

Use separate test wallets: one vault wallet to set up and approve withdrawals, and a player wallet to play. The shared rehearsal needs two player wallets. In Phantom, enable Testnet Mode and select Solana Devnet. Keep your regular wallet separate.

ONE-TIME SETUP

Give the rehearsal its tokens.

Connect your test vault wallet first. Setup creates a new test token, gives the player 1,000,000 tokens and sends them 0.01 free devnet SOL for fees.

Deposit.

Move test tokens from your player wallet into Runner. Credit appears after the chain finalizes the transfer.

Reserve available tokens for return to the same player wallet. Then switch to the vault wallet to approve the transfer.

Approval is manual in this rehearsal. An uncertain transfer stays reserved until its result is known.

DEVNET ONLY

Each player locks 10,000 test tokens. Player 1 runs first, then player 2 runs the same maze in the other browser. Both entries fund 19,400 tokens of shared loot. If both players escape with the same cache, they split its value. Your final share is credited after both turns end.

Two minutes per run. Player 2 gets five minutes to start after player 1 finishes. Either player can cancel and refund both entries before the first run starts; after that, both entries are committed. A missed turn, death or timeout returns no loot. 400 tokens fund the progressive reserve and 200 fund operations; no progressive prize is offered in this rehearsal.

What can happen to your 10,000 tokens?

Escape with loot: get the value of the caches you carry out. If both players extract the same cache, they split it. Your entry is not automatically returned.
Escape empty, die, run out of time or miss your turn: receive 0. The other player only receives loot they successfully extract, not the whole pool automatically.
Leave loot unclaimed: it goes 50% to the burn reserve and 50% to the progressive reserve. Set aside for burning does not mean already burned.
Cancel before either run starts: both locked entries are refunded. After the first run starts, they are committed. Final payouts wait for both turns.

20,000 in entries = 19,400 shared loot + 400 progressive reserve + 200 operations. No progressive prize is paid here. All amounts are free Devnet test tokens with no monetary value.

Unclaimed ordinary loot is split between the progressive reserve and burn reserve. A reserve is not an executed burn. This restricted test uses client-reported game results with basic validation; it does not establish security for valuable tokens, multiplayer capacity or production custody.
