THE MACHINE'S BOOK · RULES V1

Big cabinet.
Small take. Clear odds.

A vintage one-armed bandit reissued for a different kind of arcade. Communities can put tokens into play, people can discover them, and prizes stay in tokens. The first working release uses RNNR.

Load once. Play. Collect.

  1. Try free practice first. Practice credits are separate from real balances and cannot be withdrawn.
  2. Connect Phantom and sign the free login message. Read and accept the terms and slot rules.
  3. Add RNNR from your wallet. Review the amount, mint, accounts and SOL fee, then approve the deposit. It becomes playable after finalized Solana confirmation.
  4. Choose a funded bet and spin. Each spin settles against your game balance and saves a receipt. It requires no separate wallet transaction.
  5. Collect sends your available balance to your connected wallet. Review and approve the withdrawal, then wait for confirmation.

Your unspent RNNR balance is shared with the RNNR game. Tokens committed to another game or reserved for a withdrawal cannot be spent here. The machine's prize and community boost pools are separate from player balances and RNNR's progressive prizes.

This release accepts and pays RNNR only. Both wallet and vault must already have the correct RNNR token account. Acquiring RNNR normally creates your wallet's account. Network fees are paid in SOL. SOL/USDC deposits, swaps, dollar estimates and mixed-token prizes are future possibilities, not features of this release.

The odds deep dive

These are token multipliers, including your stake. A 1× payout returns your bet; it is not a profit. Reel symbols represent payout tiers. Every real prize in v1 is RNNR.

Base: 50% any payout. 15% profit. 100% theoretical token return.
Expected payout = 0.35 × 1 + 0.10 × 2 + 0.04 × 5 + 0.01 × 25 = 1 bet. This is an average over random outcomes, not a promise about your session or future token value.

Communities can push returns higher

When the community boost pool holds at least one selected bet, it adds a 20 percentage point chance of a 1× community gift. That gift is paid from the boost pool. The ordinary 2×, 5× and 25× probabilities remain unchanged.

Your own consecutive zero-payout spins also count. After five at the same bet tier, your next eligible spins add 10 percentage points of 1× returns. After ten, they add 20 points. Any payout resets that tier's streak. Changing bet tiers uses that tier's own history; another player's streak does not transfer to you. These extra returns come from the ordinary prize pool.

Above-100% return is funded by finite reserves. It can draw those reserves down. Each displayed return applies to that spin's active conditions; it is not the long-run return of an entire streak strategy. Playing longer can still lose tokens. A dry streak does not mean a jackpot is due.

Every offered prize must be covered

The prize pool must hold at least 24 times your bet before the spin. Your bet supplies the remaining 1× needed for the maximum 25× payout. For a 10,000 RNNR bet, that means 240,000 RNNR already in the prize pool. If funding drops below the requirement, that bet closes until funded again. Smaller funded tiers may remain available.

Funding and balances are checked again when your spin commits. If funded odds changed since the quote, the server rejects the request without spending the bet. You see the new odds before choosing to spin again. There is no outcome control based on followers, identity, deposits or social status.

A machine communities can fill

Donate from your available RNNR game balance to ordinary prizes or community boosts. 100% of each donation enters the selected pool. Donations cannot be reclaimed. They do not buy ownership, promise advertising reach or entitle donors to a return. The machine starts empty and needs prize funding before real spins can open.

This release takes zero operator fee, with an initial project funding target of zero. Tokens are not automatically sold, converted or sent to an operating treasury. Wallet-paid Solana network fees still apply to deposits and withdrawals.

We can take this in many directions. One future model is a small, published project funding target, followed by a regenerative zero-take machine once that target is reached. Software gives us room to explore low operating costs. Any future funding fee would need a new published rules version and explicit acceptance; it is not hidden in this version.

New coin communities could eventually sponsor their own machines and prize inventories. Their donations could make the chance of receiving tokens far higher than 50:50. We would still need to separate a token's quoted price from what its available liquidity can actually support.

Community rails, and experiments in value

Our intent is to explore memecoins as community rails: shared symbols, participation, discovery and experiments in value. This project does not promise that they function as everyday currency or investments. Tokens can lose value, lack buyers or become impossible to sell at a displayed price. A prize in tokens carries those same risks.

What a receipt can prove

The server publishes a SHA-256 commitment to a one-use secret seed before you spin. Your browser saves that commitment, the accepted odds, a fresh random client seed, the nonce and a unique request ID before submitting the bet. Settlement reveals the server seed and advances to a new commitment.

The draw hashes slots-v1|serverSeed|clientSeed|nonce|counter, starting with counter 0. It reads eight-character hex chunks from left to right. Values below 4,294,960,000 are reduced modulo 10,000; larger values are skipped to avoid modulo bias. If necessary, the counter increments. The result is mapped to the published table, then community and dry-streak returns, then a miss.

Each receipt includes the accepted odds, draw, payout and revealed seed. The browser verifies the original saved commitment before displaying settlement. Retries return the committed receipt rather than charging another bet.

This is a custodial, server-settled release. Solana handles deposits and withdrawals; spins use the operator's persistent ledger. A valid receipt verifies the calculation against its commitment. It does not prove that an operator always served every request, honestly presented a commitment before play, maintains available custody, or cannot alter its own infrastructure. This is not an on-chain VRF or a trustless smart contract.

Verification runs in this browser. The receipt is not uploaded.

Play within your limits

Real-token slots are gambling. Community framing, token payouts and zero operator take do not remove that fact. Only participate where lawful and if you meet the legal age requirement. Set a time and token budget before playing. Do not borrow, chase losses or count on winnings. Free practice is available without a deposit.

If play stops feeling manageable, stop and seek support. In the U.S., the National Council on Problem Gambling lists 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738) for calls and texts. Find support and online chat ↗. Outside the U.S., use local gambling support services.

The machine provides session net and individual receipts, but v1 does not implement automatic spending limits, identity verification or self-exclusion. The age/location acknowledgment is not a regulatory approval. Operator deployment requirements depend on the actual service and jurisdiction.

Community coin edition

Open the community machine. Each finalized eligible contribution unlocks five spin credits for 24 hours. A second contribution in that window adds prizes but no extra credits. Unused credits expire. A new contribution after the window unlocks another bundle. Credits are not withdrawable RNNR.

Each coin has its own inventory and 24-hour distribution window. At the first spin of a window, the budget is 10% of that coin's available pool, rounded down to base units. Contributions during an active window enter inventory for the next budget. Empty budgets close that coin until renewal. The first version admits up to 64 supported Solana mints with revoked mint and freeze authorities, without transfer fees/hooks or unsupported extensions. Check a coin before sending. A coin with fewer than ten base units cannot fund a reward window.

Each spin selects uniformly among coins with budget remaining. Its base prize is 1% of the selected coin's window budget, rounded down, with a minimum of one base unit. Prize sizes: 70% at 1×, 20% at 2×, 9% at 5×, 1% at 25×. Payment is capped at the remaining budget. These multiples describe token quantities in the selected pool, never the value of your contribution. Every completed spin pays a positive token quantity. If no coin can pay, no credit is spent. There is no dollar valuation, swap or operator take.

Your saved receipt reveals a server seed committed before your spin, your client seed, nonce and the eligible coin list. The two rejection-sampled SHA-256 draws use community-v1 domains coin and size. This verifies the draws against the saved list; it does not independently prove inventory, operator custody, fair inclusion or universal availability. Per-wallet allowances do not prevent one person using several wallets. The pool budget limits total distribution, not identity abuse.

Use the in-game contribution transfer, or import a direct transfer from the signed-in sender using its finalized transaction signature. Unsolicited transfers are not automatically indexed. Tokens sent to the wrong address or unsupported mints are not credited. RNNR remains in its separate existing edition. Winnings are collected one coin at a time; the wallet pays network fees and any required associated-token-account rent. Retries recover the same saved action, and pending withdrawals remain reserved until verified. Keep receipts if an RPC or wallet fails.

These are early test release rules. Complete a small contribution, five-spin session and withdrawal with the exact token before public promotion. The machine is a community distribution experiment; a positive token reward does not promise monetary profit.
